Terms of Service for Marquee Letter Rental

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By reserving and using our marquee letter rental services, you (“Customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Bigz Marquee (“Company”, “we”, “us”).

2. RENTAL SERVICES

2.1 Reservation and Payment

  • All bookings require advance payment in full through our secure online payment system.
  • All bookings require at least 1 week advance notice to ensure availability.
  • Prices are based on letter count, with delivery and setup service included.
  • Price quotes are valid for 14 days from the date of issue.

2.2 Duration

  • Standard rental period is 24 hours from the time of delivery.
  • Extended rental periods may be arranged in advance for an additional fee.

2.3 Delivery and Setup

  • Professional delivery, setup, and collection service is included with all rentals within San Antonio city limits for a $40 service fee.
  • Delivery time will be arranged prior to your event date.
  • Customer must ensure proper access to the venue for delivery and setup.
  • Additional fees may apply for locations outside city limits, difficult access locations, upper floors without elevator access, or extensive setup requirements.

3. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

3.1 Care of Equipment

  • Customer agrees to use the marquee letters with reasonable care.
  • Letters must be kept indoors or in covered areas protected from rain, extreme heat, and adverse weather conditions.
  • Letters should be placed on stable, level surfaces.
  • No adhesives, nails, screws, or any attachments may be applied to the letters.

3.2 Prohibited Uses

  • Letters may not be submerged in water or placed in direct contact with sand, dirt, or mud.
  • Letters may not be altered, painted, or modified in any way.
  • Letters may not be transported to a location other than the specified event address without prior written permission.

3.3 Safety and Handling

  • Customer is responsible for ensuring safe handling of all marquee letters at all times while in their possession.
  • Any electrical components must be handled with dry hands and kept away from moisture.

3.4 Liability for Damage

  • Customer assumes full responsibility for any damage to the letters while in their possession.
  • Repair or replacement costs will be charged for damaged or missing letters.
  • Cost of replacement for each damaged letter is $100 per letter.

Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company and its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from Customer's use of the rental items or breach of these Terms.

7. PHOTO RELEASE

We may take photos of our marquee letters at your event for our portfolio and social media. By accepting these Terms, you grant us permission to use such images. If you wish to opt out, please notify us in writing prior to your event.

8. MODIFICATIONS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The most current version will be posted on our website.

9. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Bexar County, Texas.
